Inlays & Onlays

Many patients have silver amalgam fillings in their mouths, which corrode over time and look unsightly. Smaller amalgam fillings can be replaced with white fillings but these are inadequate for replacing larger amalgams, as they are not wear resistant enough in the long term. Porcelain inlays and onlays are an excellent choice in restoring teeth such as these, as they are stronger than white fillings and appear more life-like as porcelain is very similar to natural tooth.
